Standard Downspout

In most applications with lined or unlined FIBCs a downspout with flexible sleeve achieves a clean, simple to operate, dust free connection from the discharger to client’s feed system.

Pneumatic Clamp in Enclosure

Very fine, flushing powders can only be controlled and contained by clamping the FIBC / liner outlet to the feed system. The pneumatic inflating seal guarantees a dust tight connection between the FIBC and downstream equipment, eliminating the risk of product or atmospheric contamination. Neck stretch is an option for light powders with poor flow characteristics. The enclosure provides additional security in the event of splits in the liner or neck and the interlocked access door prevents any risk to the operator during the clamping and discharging operation.

Manual Band Clamp.
A simple band clamp, to seal the FIBC outlet onto the feed system, is offered for small diameter FIBC outlets.  The dust control is not as effective as the pneumatic clamp, but is ideal for non-toxic industrial powders.
