Hoist Loaded Discharging

Loading FIBCs into Dischargers using a Hoist, mounted in a free standing Gantry, is the option chosen for many applications, particularly where Fork Trucks are not permitted and where the product is being fed into a Mixer, Buffer Hopper or Dense Phase Conveying System.

Gantries are based on a standard design with the choice of Tubular or Square Hollow section Stainless Steel or square hollow section powder coated mild steel.

Twin or Triple Gantries can be supplied to minimise the footprint and reduce the number of supports to the floor. Twin interlocked hoists are offered for rapid changeover between FIBCs.

The Hoist loaded option allows flexibility in how and when the new FIBC is delivered to the discharge station, the turn round time not being dependant on Fork Truck availability. The maximum height of discharge is determined by building height, not the reach and safety of a Fork Lift Truck.

Gantries are manufactured from Powder Coated Mild Steel or Stainless Steel hollow section, with galvanised Lifting Beams.

Beams fitted with Stainless Steel Running Strips for Food and pharmaceutical applications.

Twin Gantries designed to reduce floor space and minimise supports to the floor. Integral Electric or Pneumatic Hoists supplied with Pendant Controls, suitable for Safe and Atex rated environments.

Twin mechanically interlocked Hoists are provided where rapid changeover of emptied FIBCs is necessary.

Lifting Frames with Anti-Rotation Guides ensure the FIBC are presented square to the Discharger.

Unique Retaining Latches eliminate the risk of FIBC Loops being accidentally released during lifting and discharge.
